Brandilynn is an entrepreneur since 2011 with roots in photography and a thriving career in web and branding design, and a mom of four boys who always believed school should be more than sitting at a desk. After watching her sons come alive inside a learner-driven school in Virginia, she became passionate about building an environment where children could explore their passions, develop real leadership, and fall in love with learning while they're still young enough to let it shape them. Curiosity Grove Academy is that vision, built from the ground up, for families just like hers.

Spencer Braxton built his career from the ground up in the commercial roofing industry, earning a reputation as the person you call when a project is failing and needs to be saved. Known for bringing complex projects in on budget, ahead of schedule, and with a team that actually wants to show up. Spencer is a natural leader who has spent years proving that the right person in the right role changes everything. At Curiosity Grove Academy, he brings that same grit, precision, and love for leading others to building a schoolhouse, and a community, that is meant to last.

Chief Cultivator & Co-Founder
Our Cultivators aren't lecturers, they're the people walking alongside each learner every day. They help set meaningful goals, ask the right questions, give real feedback, and hold kids accountable to their own commitments. They step in when a child is stuck, but they never take over.
Their highest purpose is to develop learners who need them less and less, children who can think independently, solve problems, and follow through on their own. That's what success looks like for a Curiosity Grove Cultivator.
